Federated learning (FL) provides organizations with novel opportunities to advance their AI development. Nevertheless, its adoption is still mainly limited to research projects. This research project takes an organizational perspective on the AI training approach to support businesses in their strategic positioning and early adoption. The focus is on aligning system development with strategic objectives and on managing the collaboration of multiple data owners
