The research focuses on context-sensitive knowledge management in industrial production environments. The process is viewed holistically, beginning with knowledge generation based on existing documents and employees. The acquired knowledge is then enriched with metadata from production-related systems and stored. Metadata is used context-dependently as filter criteria for situational knowledge provision via assistance systems.
